Your Library is pleased to offer Curbside Pickup service!
Place your holds online, on the app or phone 705-526-4216 ext. 3300 for help, and we’ll be in touch to arrange a pickup when your items are available.
When you arrive at your curbside appointment time, call us and we’ll bring the items out to you. Note that due to Big Dig construction the majority of Elizabeth Street is currently closed to vehicular traffic. When you arrive for your appointment, you will need to park and walk along the Elizabeth Street sidewalk towards the Library. Please stand on the markings on the sidewalk and staff will bring out your items for your pick-up. While Elizabeth Street is closed, all pick ups will be on foot.
Please follow the signs and practice social distancing (remain 2 metres apart).
What will I be able to order & pick up?
If your order includes more than 10 items, you may be asked to come into the library. Interlibrary loans aren’t available at this time.
Do I need to bring my library card?
No need to bring your library card – we’ll get all your info on the phone!
What if I miss my pickup time?
If you miss your appointment, place your holds again and we’ll contact you when they’re ready.
How do I return my books?
The book drop is open for returns while the library is closed – we’ll also be taking returns during your curbside pickup appointment.
Can I make donations of gently used books?
The Library and the Friends of the Library Book Cellar aren’t accepting any donations at this time.
