The old 'Catalogue' tab and the 'My Account' tab lead to the same page so the 'Catalogue' tab has been removed. You can either use the 'My Account' tab or the 'Collections' tab to get to our catalogue.
The ‘Research’ tab has been renamed 'Collections' and the sub tabs of 'Research' have been turned into short blocks with links to full pages for each of our collections.
Use our alternate Catalogue for better results and faster loading times.
To renew material and to place requests from home, please click on the My Account tab.
This is where you will find an opportunity to login to your Library account.
Once you have logged in, a tab will appear called My Account. Click this tab.
There you will find a few different options, one is called Items Out. Click on Items Out. You will see a list of the titles you currently have out and off to the far right a Renew link. If Renew does not appear beside an item, it means it cannot be renewed.
We have decided to have small blocks on the Services page with links to all the information that used to be located in tabs. We hope this will give people a little more information on what the links are without having to explore every page. Also, a few of the tabs, now blocks, have been relocated to our Collections page.
The 'About MPL' tab has been renamed to 'About Us'. The tabs that were located under this tab have been changed into blocks and slightly restructured.
- The 'Board' tab has been combined with the 'Administration' tab.
- The Careers tab has been removed. When positions at the Midland Public Library become available we will be posting them with Job Bank Canada as well as on our front page.
- The 'History', 'Ste. Marie' and 'Map' tabs have been kept similar but have been turned into blocks with links instead of tabs.
- Our 'Policies page is still being updated and will be added shortly.
- The Hours tab has been removed because our hours are located at the top of the page in the banner.
The 'Log in' link, that was situated in the top left hand corner of the Homepage, was for patrons who wanted to leave comments. Unfortunately, at this point in time, we do not have the staff time to manage and monitor all the comments, so that feature has temporarily been removed.
There is currently nothing for sale on the website. The 'Shop’ tab will return when we have more tickets for events and other items for sale.
